HEMSBY PAIRS 2009 Booking forms for next April's Hemsby Pairs are currently being despatched. LAKESIDE 2009 We will shortly be sending out the booking forms for Lakeside. CHRISTMAS 2008 This year's Christmas Break event was won by Alan & Josie Long. You can read all about the event here.

CHRISTMAS 2008 There is now just a month to go before this year's Christmas Break and the entries are still coming in. We are pleased to say that have now passed the 50 pair mark for this event. It looks as if our numbers are going to be a little bit down on last year, but this was something which we anticipated when we decided to organise our Autumn event at Gunton Hall, with it being in such relatively close proximity both in terms of date and location to Hemsby at Christmas. HEMSBY PAIRS 2009 Next year's Hemsby Pairs, on the weekend of 17th to 20th April, is going to clash with the Eastern Counties 'Six Counties' tournament. Whilst this is not going to affect the majority of our guests, there are several county players who we know would liked to have joined us. Unfortunately the clash of dates is unavoidable, we had our date booked quite some time ago, on the same weekend as last year's event, but the 'Six Counties', which was subsequently announced, has been moved from it's traditional date of the weekend before. We have done our best to move our date, but it has not been possible, bearing in mind that we have to avoid conflicts both with other carpet bowls events and events already booked in at Hemsby. The booking forms for the event will be available at around the time of the Christmas Break.

GUNTON HALL 2008 The Gunton Pairs was won by Colin & Jean Love. You can read all about the event here. CHRISTMAS 2008 We now have 40 Pairs entered for this year's Christmas Break. ISLE OF WIGHT 2009 Our Isle of Wight holiday is now one year away and we are pleased to report that we now have bookings for 30 pairs. This means that we have filled around two thirds of our places.

GUNTON HALL 2008 As mentioned in the last update, we will have 48 pairs taking part in the Autumn Pairs at Gunton Hall. So with just a couple of weeks to go it is time for a final update. Everyone will get at least 6 games over the course of the weekend, 4 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday morning. This will be followed by the knockout stages for the top 16 teams, on Sunday afternoon. As you will know, the venue will be laying on entertainment in the evenings, but this won't be until quite late on, so if there is enough interest we be running Bowls Drives (Jumblies) after dinner. GUNTON HALL 2008 Having already filled all of our places for the Autumn Pairs we have managed to squeeze a few more people in, taking the total number of pairs up to the 48 mark. So barring any last minute changes, with the event now little over a month away, it looks as if the entry is now finalised. We will be dropping everyone a line in the near future, with details of the weekend.

ISLE OF WIGHT 2009 Even though we are still well over a year away from next year's Isle of Wight holiday, we have already taken several deposits. Our numbers will be limited for this event, with places available for just 80 people, but we already have 30 of those places currently booked. CHRISTMAS 2008 Although the booking forms have only just been sent out we are pleased to say that we already have 30 Pairs entered for this year's Christmas Break.

LAKESIDE 2008 The entry for Lakeside 2008 is now all but complete, barring any last minute entries. We currently have 74 pairs entered. If you follow the above link you will find more detail on the timetable we have planned for the week's bowling.

ISLE OF WIGHT 2009 We are pleased to announce that we will be running a mid-week holiday next October, on the Isle of Wight. Obviously, the date is still a long way off, so we are not able to provide any detailed information, but you can find out a little more here. LAKESIDE 2008 We now have more than 70 Pairs booked in for Lakeside 2008, making this our biggest event yet. GUNTON HALL 2008 We have now passed the 40 pairs mark for the Autumn Pairs. Thos means that we have reached our original allocation and that from now on we will be booking places at the venue on an individual basis, so if you are interested, please contact us as soon as possible.

HEMSBY 2008 This year's Hemsby Pairs was won by Peter & Joyce Holbrow. You can read more about the event here and the full results here. GUNTON HALL 2008 We now have 36 pairs booked in for the Autumn Pairs, this means that we have already reached the sort of numbers which we had envisaged when we announced the break. However we do still have spaces available, so if you would like to join us, please get in touch.

GUNTON HALL 2008 Following on from the last post about the Autumn Pairs, we can confirm that we have now secured some additional accommodation in order to meet the anticipated demand, but we only have a limited number of places available, so please get in touch with us as soon as possible if you are interested. HEMSBY 2008 Subject to any last minute alterations there will be a total of 63 pairs entered for this year's Hemsby Pairs. With this year's event being run to a traditional group format, this means that there will be 9 groups of 7 teams each, giving everyone at least 6 games each over the weekend.

GUNTON HALL 2008 The bookings for the Autumn Pairs are coming in thick and fast. We initially had places available for about 80 people and we have already had around 60 of those places taken up. Although we are now looking to reserve more places, it is possible that this could be a sell-out event, so if you are interested please be sure to let us know as soon as possible.

GUNTON HALL 2008 We are pleased to say that the first entries for the Autumn Pairs have now started to arrive. HEMSBY 2008 The entry for this year's Hemsby Pairs has now reached the 60 mark. There are now just 3 weeks to go, so we do not expect many more entries, but they are still coming in and we are happy to continue to accomodate bookings right up until the last minute.

GUNTON HALL 2008 We are pleased to announce a new event for this October. The Autumn Pairs will be held over the weekend of 10th to 13th October. You can find more out about the event here. HEMSBY 2008 We are pleased to say that we have 50 Pairs entered for the Hemsby Pairs which means that we have now matched last year's entry. Nevertheless there is still plenty of time to book if you would like to join us. LAKESIDE 2008 The bookings for Lakeside 2008 have now surpassed last year's holiday, with more than 60 Pairs currently booked in. Even so, we still have plenty of space left for anyone else who still wishes to join us.

LAKESIDE 2008 Bookings for the Lakeside 2008 holiday are going better than expected, with well over 40 Pairs having already entered at this very early stage. We have heard that there is a rumour going around that we are already fully booked. We can certainly confirm that this is not the case, although the response has been such that we have already arranged with Lakeside to increase our allocationof accomodation. We are therefore pleased to say that we still have plenty of space left.
